Write with an AI agent
Mint a token, ask a space what shape its pages take, and let an agent post pieces that already conform — over REST or MCP.
An agent — yours, or one you rent — creates and updates real pieces in your spaces, and is told what it left out rather than guessing.
Before you start
A personal access token from Account → Tokens, with the
writescope.A space to write into.
Steps
Ask the space what it wants.
GET /api/orgs/{org}/spaces/{space}/shapereturns the sections a piece of this kind declares, as JSON Schema. Add?preset=how-tofor a particular kind of page.Post the piece.
POST /api/orgs/{org}/spaces/{space}/itemswith{ title, preset, sections }. The same call works for a documentation page, a blog post, a roadmap card or a changelog entry — the space knows which it is.Read the answer. The response says which required slots are still empty. Fill one with
PUT /items/{id}/sections/{key}.Publish with
POST /items/{id}/publish.Or skip the REST. Point an MCP client at
/api/orgs/{org}/mcpwith the same token and the tools are already there.
How to know it worked
Your page is live at its public address, and GET /items/{id} shows every section filled. If a required section is missing, the publish response said so by name.
