The Watchtower plugin (sdks/jetbrains, IDEs 2025.1 or later) runs wtctl lsp through the IDE's built-in LSP support for projects with a watchtower.yaml:

  • Settings > Tools > Watchtower: API URL, optional web URL, optional project override, wtctl path, API key (read scope, kept in the IDE password safe and passed to wtctl only through WT_API_KEY).

  • Code lenses and hovers work as in lsp.md; clicking a lens opens the issue or trace in the browser.

Older IDEs: install LSP4IJ, then Settings > Languages & Frameworks > Language Servers > New with command wtctl lsp and environment WT_API_URL, WT_API_KEY.
