Halcyon reaches its 2030 carbon milestone four years early
Halcyon Newsroom · 1 min read
Halcyon has cut emissions across its supply chain by 60 percent against 2015 levels, reaching a goal it set for 2030 four years ahead of schedule.
The milestone covers manufacturing, transport, and the electricity customers use to charge their devices.
Where the reductions came from
Clean power — 320 suppliers in 28 countries have switched to renewable electricity.
Materials — every Halcyon device now uses 100 percent recycled aluminium in its enclosure.
Shipping — moving 70 percent of products by sea rather than air.
“A goal you hit early is a goal you set too low. We are raising it.” — Lena Moreau, vice president of Environment
What comes next
Halcyon’s new commitment is to be carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2028.
