The Shippified Discord bot

Shippified has its own Discord app. Add it to your server and it can:

• Post a daily checkouts digest to a channel you choose, with buttons to page through it and change how it's broken down.

• Let you copy embeds into Shippified from the Apps menu, so you can build templates from them.

• Include your checkouts in Shippified's network-wide drop breakdown and drop leaderboard, if you opt in.

Note: You don't need this bot to import orders from your monitors. Monitor bots post straight to your webhook URLs; see Connect Discord monitor bots. The Shippified bot is only for digests and embed copying.

Add the bot to your server

1. In Shippified, go to Settings → Forwarding and scroll to Daily checkouts digest.

2. Under Step 1 — Add the Shippified bot to your server, click Install bot to your Discord.

3. Discord's standard install page opens in a new tab. Choose your server and approve.

You need permission to add apps to that server, which is usually Manage Server. The bot asks for only two permissions, Send Messages and Embed Links, plus the ability to register its commands. It doesn't ask for admin rights.

Checklist for server admins

• Make sure the bot's role can view the digest channel and send messages and embed links there. Channel-level permission overrides can block it even when the server-wide role allows it.

• Choose a private channel for the digest. It shows spend and, when your bots report them, customer or profile names. Anyone who can see the channel can also use its buttons.

• For the Apps-menu embed copy command, members need to be allowed to use application commands in the channels where they'll use it.

Daily checkouts digest

Set it up

In Settings → Forwarding, under Daily checkouts digest:

1. Step 2 — Channel ID: in Discord, right-click the channel and choose Copy Channel ID. If you don't see that option, turn on Developer Mode in Discord's settings. Paste the ID here.

2. Step 3 — Schedule: choose the hour the digest should post, in your local time. Hours are listed in 12-hour form, from 12:00 AM local (midnight) to 11:00 PM local.

3. Step 4 — Breakdown axis: choose the default grouping. The options are By bot (each embed = one webhook bot), By retailer (Target / Walmart / Amazon / …) and By source (webhook / email / manual).

4. Tick Enabled ("Post daily digest at the chosen hour").

5. Click Save.

To check it works, click Send a test digest now. If it posts, you'll see "Posted (Discord message id …)." Otherwise, you'll see the error Discord returned.

Tip: The test uses the channel you've saved, not what's currently typed in the box. Click Save first after changing the channel ID.

When it posts

• "Local time" means the Timezone in Settings → Profile. If you haven't set one, UTC is used.

• Shippified checks every 15 minutes. It posts once a day, at the first check after your chosen hour.

• The scheduled digest covers the previous full day, midnight to midnight in your timezone. For example, with the schedule set to 9:00 AM local, the digest posted Tuesday morning covers all of Monday.

• Send a test digest now covers today so far.

• If a post fails, for example because the bot can't reach the channel, Shippified tries again at the next check. It does this through the rest of the day until the post succeeds.

Orders are counted on the day Shippified first received them. For emails, that's the date on the email.

What's in it

The first embed is a summary: the date, total orders, total units and total spend. Each embed after that is one group (a bot, a retailer or a source), sorted by number of orders:

In By bot view, each webhook bot uses its own name and image. Orders that didn't come from a bot are grouped by source, for example "Email (no bot)". For a day with no orders, you get a short "quiet day" message instead.

Buttons

Each digest shows up to nine groups per page. Below it are:

• ← Prev, a page counter and Next → to move between pages.

• By bot, By retailer and By source to regroup the same day. The current grouping is highlighted.

Clicking a button redraws that message in place. The buttons keep working on older digests and after Shippified restarts, because each click re-reads your current data.

Copying embeds into Shippified

The bot adds two commands to your server:

Both reply only to you, so no one else in the channel sees them. For setup and how to use the captured samples, see Embed copier.

Drop breakdown and drop leaderboard

Shippified also posts two network-wide recaps each day in its own public Discord channels. They cover the previous full day (a day with no qualifying checkouts gets a short "quiet day" or "no leaderboard for this day" post instead), and they include only workspaces that have turned on Include my checkouts in public stats in Settings → Profile. With it off, your orders are left out entirely.

A few things to know:

• Bots are pooled by the display name you gave them, ignoring capitals and extra spaces. To be counted with everyone else's Hayha bot, name yours "Hayha" rather than "My Hayha #2".

• Your workspace appears under your display name, and your bots appear under their display names. Item names, units and spend are shown. Order numbers and tracking numbers are not included in these recaps.

Important: Turning on Include my checkouts in public stats also puts you on the in-app leaderboard and your public profile, and can post a short card for each of your bots' orders (item, store, price and image only) to Shippified's public feed.
