Verify a domain
Mail is trusted when the receiving server can prove it came from you. Verifying a domain publishes the records that prove it.
Use a subdomain such as mail.lumen.dev. It keeps the reputation of your sending separate from the mail your team sends by hand.
Add the domain
- Add it in the dashboard
Go to Domains → Add domain and enter the subdomain you want to send from.
- Publish the DNS records
Postwick shows three records. Add each one at your DNS provider exactly as written.

bounces.mailv=spf1 include:spf.postwick.dev ~all - Verify
Choose Verify. Most providers publish within minutes; some take a few hours. The domain turns green when every record matches.
Troubleshooting
A record shows as pending for more than a day
Check that your provider has not appended the root domain twice — pw._domainkey.mail.lumen.dev.lumen.dev is the usual culprit.
