Since last week's update, the code panel in Sketchpad is read-only unless you prompt. For tiny changes — a typo, a padding value — prompting is slower and costs credits. Please bring back direct editing, even behind a toggle.

We run a long-lived staging branch that needs different variables from other previews. Right now the only options are Production, Preview, and Development. A way to scope a variable to a branch name (or a pattern like release/*) would remove a lot of hacks.
