Environment variables
Variables are encrypted at rest and scoped to an environment.

ridgeline env add DATABASE_URL productionOpen Settings → Environment variables, add a key and value, and choose the environments it applies to.
Variables prefixed PUBLIC_ are inlined into browser bundles. Never put a secret in one.
