My first design system: 120 components in 6 weeks

After six weeks of evenings, I've published my first design system as a community file: 120 components, light and dark modes, all built on variables.

What I learned:

• Start with tokens, not components.

• Name variables for purpose (surface/raised), never for colour (grey-100).

• Document as you go. I didn't, and the last week was pain.
