Why we're changing how Vectra AI is priced
Six months ago we gave every Pro member unlimited access to the fastest models. Usage grew in a direction we did not expect: fewer quick questions, many more long-running tasks. Today we are moving to plans with AI credits.
What changes
Every plan now includes a monthly allowance of credits. A quick question costs a fraction of a credit; an agent that reads your repository and opens a pull request costs more. You can see what each request cost, right in the command bar.

Why credits
Unlimited worked when every request was roughly the same size. It does not work when one request can run for twenty minutes. Credits let us offer longer tasks without slowing everyone else down.
We would rather tell you exactly what something costs than quietly make it worse.
What stays the same
Quick AI, translation and inline completions do not use credits. They stay unlimited on every paid plan.
