Two researchers suggest checking our assumptions about who is on the other side of the screen

Most of our users don't share our language, our network speed or our hands.

We spent a month testing in six countries with people who use screen readers, switch controls and very old phones.

The fixes were rarely glamorous: bigger targets, fewer animations, captions everywhere.

Accessibility is just usability with the assumptions removed.

Every one of them made the product better for everyone else too.
