The latest update moved "Copy design" into the overflow menu. It's something I use dozens of times a day. Could it be an option to keep it pinned in the toolbar

Yes — set the parent to Grid flow, give the columns a minimum width, and turn on auto-fill. The cards reflow as the parent narrows.

Comments on a component set get lost when variants are rearranged. Pinning a comment to a specific variant would keep feedback with the thing it's about.
