How to help us help you - or How to ask a good question

Good questions get good answers fast. Here is what we need from you.

1. Say what you expected and what happened

"It doesn't work" tells us nothing. "The porch light turns on at 18:00 but never turns off" tells us a lot.

2. Share your configuration

Paste it as a code block, with three backticks before and after:

3. Include the logs

Settings → System → Logs. Copy the lines around the error, not a screenshot of them.

4. Tell us your version

Settings → About shows it. "Latest" is not a version.
